The digitalization of industries is in full swing in our country. This requires profound approaches from specialists in the field of information and communication technologies. Improvement of these directions and integration of world experience in the sphere of information and communication technologies of Uzbekistan is one of the topical issues of today. In this regard, a trilateral memorandum of understanding was signed between RIPE NCC and the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as infrastructure operator of Uzbekistan - Uzbektelecom JSC

The RIPE NCC is one of five Regional Internet Registries that register and coordinate activities to globally support the distribution of Internet resources and the functioning of the Internet.

The Memorandum of Understanding aims to develop Internet coordination activities and to support the development of the Internet in the region. The parties will focus on capacity building efforts through training courses, meetings and workshops concerning both the RIPE community and the technical community in Uzbekistan.

In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding, RIPE NCC, the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Uzbektelecom JSC will work on introduction of IPv6 technology in Uzbekistan, improvement of peering services and complete digitization of the telecommunications industry. The parties agreed on cooperation with academia and development of Internet traffic exchange points (IXP) in the country.

Hans Petter Holen, Managing Director of &nbsp;RIPE NCC, Oleg Pekos, First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies, and Nazirjon Hasanov, Director General of Uzbektelecom, took part in the signing of the memorandum.

The main goal of this collaboration and effort is to reduce the human factor in processes, to move industries to a new digitization system, and to implement it in every industry in the near future.
